How it works

What to know before you start

We are LBP-certified builders, so the structural side is handled in-house. For the other trades, we have close working relationships with trusted local plumbers, electricians and more, and we coordinate them for you. If you already have a plumber or electrician you prefer, we are more than happy to work in with them.

Already have plans? We can build from your existing designs. If not, we work closely with a designer, or can give you advice based on your space. Should you renovate, extend or rebuild? We give you an honest read on what makes the most sense for your house and budget. You get a clear scope and a straight answer on cost before we start, regular updates while we work, and a site left clean at the end.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in NZ?
It depends on the room size and the fittings you choose. We visit to see the space, then give you an accurate quote.
Do I need consent for my renovation or extension?
Some work does and some does not, depending on what you are changing. We can give you pointers, but we do not run the consent process.
Can I use my own plumber or electrician?
Yes. We have trusted local trades we work with closely, but we are happy to work in with your own.
Should I renovate, extend or rebuild?
It depends on the house and what you want from it. We give you an honest read on what makes sense for your place and budget.
